Website Overhauled
Well just when you were beginning to wonder if the new Wembley Stadium would open before our website was brought up to date I've managed to find the time to give it a good overhaul.
The archive has been separated into three sections, one containing our first series of shows, another for the current run and a new Exclusives section that currently remains empty but will hopefully house Mp3's of some of the exclusives we play on audition.
Series one remains incomplete. We do not have a recording of Show 23, if anyone out there has a copy we would be very pleased to hear from you. Shows one to nine are still not there though I do have recordings. Uploading them would be a very long and tiresome job that I can't bring myself to undertake at this late stage unless you all get together and lobby us incessantly :)
The Mp3's are now up to date then. Thanks for listening

To all our overseas listeners (again)
...and those of you in the UK who are a bit vague about such things:
British Summer Time ends over Saturday night/Sunday Morning, and we go back onto Greenwich Mean Time. This means that our show is technically an hour later - 7pm GMT = 8pm BST. So if your country's daylight savings doesn't change this weekend you'll need to tune in an hour later to hear us. Or tune in at the same time and get a bonus show - Capital Eyes, which is only of passing interest if you're not living in London but nicely done by lovely people.

Play resumes at 7pm tonight
Just to confirm that we will be broadcasting tonight, although we will be bringing umbrellas into the studio just in case as it's still raining heavily as I type.
Don't forget that we have an exclusive session recording from David Lacey and Paul Vogel, two fine Dublin-based musicians. And lots of other good stuff too.

Rain stops play!
Resonance's studios are currently out of action, having been flooded the other day. It's going to take a little while to sort the equipment out and make it safe to work in, so there won't be any broadcasts from there until the middle of next week at best.
So there's no audition this Sunday. A couple of ideas for what you could do for that hour instead:
1. Perform Cage's 0'00"
2. Create your own version of audition - play some of your favourite new records and stumble out some old tosh about them, laughing occasionally. Remember to turn the air conditioning off when you talk.
3. Do both simultaneously.

even longer audition
Don't forget that tomorrow is our first show of the new season...and we've been given an extra hour to play with too! It's just a one-off, but we'll try and make the most of it.
So, for one week only, tune in at 6pm London time. Back to 7pm starts the week after.

Latest news
Hope everyone has had a nice summer. We're just waiting for confirmation of the time slot for the new series of audition from Resonance HQ, and as soon as we know it we'll publish it here. We're chomping at the bit! Richard and I haven't been idle over the summer though - far from it.
Richard has started a record label, Cathnor Recordings, and already has two very strong releases available - Archi.Texture Vol 1 by Herve Boghossian, Mark Wastell and John Tilbury, and Body And Limbs Still Look To Light by Will Guthrie. Both releases are available now from Sound 323.
I spent some time in Sydney, Australia, picking up as much new music as I could and checking out gigs at The Now Now and Pelt. I also spent some time in the Cook Islands, but the experimental music scene isn't quite as big there...
Not to be outdone by Richard, I too have started a record label, Quincunx Sound Recordings. My first release is First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Kommando Raumschiff Zitrone, the duo of Kai Fagaschinski and Christof Kurzmann. Sound 323 should be your first port of call for this, too.
We're really looking forward to broadcasting again. Hope you're looking forward to listening.

Show 23 - visual evidence
Well, MP3s of all the shows are up (if you know where to look, heh heh) with the exception of show 23. We've tried hard, but we just can't get a useful recording of that one. If you have one that you could share with us we'd be much obliged. If we can't get one then we'll look to put up the Beins/Durrant session that formed the centrepiece of that show anyway soon.
Just to prove we really did do a show that week, here's a picture of us in full flow. Picture courtesy of OFCOM's spy camera.
(L-R: Pinnell, Wilson)
While you wait for audition to start broadcasting again, Richard and I are both planning on bringing you some new music this summer. Keep checking back here for the latest news.

Progress with the missing Mp3s!
OK, the first of the missing Mp3s is now up at the archive page on the website.
Many thanks for the patience of anyone waiting for these, they are proving a pain to do, but I am aiming to have them all up before the weekend is over.
If any regular listeners missed our last show and really want to hear it, email me at rcpinnell (at) bt internet.com and I'll put you in touch with someone who can supply you with a copy, but only if you can convince me you don't work for a major label!!!

And now, the end is near...
Tomorrow's show is that last one in the current run, as we're taking a break for summer. We'll be back in October, so keep checking the site for updates.
For our last show we've planned something a little different. Because of the nature of it we're unlikely to put a full recording of it in the audio archive (copyright laws, big corporations, etc). So if you want the full, unadulterated, end-of-term audition programme, tune in tomorrow at 7pm. It's after the England match, so you've no excuse!
