We're pleased to announce the first of a monthly series of exclusive live recordings on audition.
This Sunday and on the last Sunday of each month we'll be highlighting a previously unheard recording from a concert presented under the Sound 323 umbrella.
First up we have Rhodri Davies (harp) and Joel Stern (electronics) from St Cyprians, London.
Tune in this Sunday at 9.30pm (or Tuesday morning at 9.00am) for what I think you'll agree is a great start to the series.

Richard, Alastair, I'm listening to your 29/01/06 show, you've just programmed the last item, Nash Controll, not particularly a racket I like, but I do like the show very much and I'll be tuning in regularly.
hey there, checking in to say hello from brisbane australia. luka z in slovenia fwdd me the link to this playlist,, a small world, i don't think i've ever even heard this recording, i was just developing a strong collaborative project with rhodri when i moved back to oz in 2003, a shame, perhaps we will get another chance to play together in the future..
best wishes,
joel stern
Hey Joel, glad to hear that you've got wind of the show. If you want a copy of the recording, email me at alastair (dot)wilson(at)gmail(dot)com with a contact address.
It's a pity you couldn't take your collaboration with Rhodri further as I like your live set very much.
Is your show on 4ZZZ available on the web? I'd like to hear one some time.
Hi Joel
I'll second Alastair's approval of that live recording, a nice piece. What I am struggling to figure out is how I didn't manage to be there for the show back then, but there you go.
I picked up Tape and Paint Game last week and its on my 'To listen to ASAP' pile right now. Looking forward to that one.
hey guys, sorry for the unbelievably late reply on this thread...
alastair, if the offer is still there, i'd love to take you up on getting a copy of the recording.
richard, any thought on t&pg?
as for my 4zzz radio program, i had an idea to produce a one hour program sampling the current state of experimental and improvised music in brisbane. would you guys maybe be interested in re-broadcasting sections of it on your show at some point?
seeya,
joel.
Hi Joel
Let me know where to send it (via alastair.wilson@gmail.com) and I'll get one off to you ASAP.
Your Brisbane idea sounds fun - email me about it!
Cheers,
Alastair
